Annually, the team conducts more than 25,000 requests for information. This number is expected to rise due to enhanced regulation in biotechnology, dietary supplements, food, and feed products.
Industry and Regulatory Association contracts provide additional support and the networks ensure current regulations and references are implemented and shared.
The American Feed Industry Association, based in Arlington, VA, is the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to representing the business, legislative, and regulatory interests of the U.S. animal feed industry and its suppliers. Members include more than 600 domestic and international companies, as well as state, regional, and national associations. Member companies are livestock, feed and pet food manufacturers, integrators, pharmaceutical companies, ingredient suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and companies that supply other products, services, and suppliers to feed manufacturers.
